Our Candles

What are your candles made from?

Every Bramwell & Rowe candle is hand-poured using:

  • 100% premium soy wax
  • High-quality fragrance oils
  • Cotton wicks
  • Reusable amber glass jars

Our candles are vegan-friendly and handcrafted in small batches.

How long do your candles burn?

Our 220g candles have an approximate burn time of up to 50 hours, depending on how they're cared for.

Why is my candle tunnelling?

Tunnelling usually occurs when a candle isn't burned long enough during its first few uses.

For the best performance, allow the wax to melt completely to the edge of the jar during every burn. This creates an even melt pool and helps prevent tunnelling.

How long should I burn my candle?

For the best results:

  • Burn for 2–4 hours at a time.
  • Never burn for longer than 4 hours.
  • Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn.

Why should I trim the wick?

Keeping your wick trimmed helps to:

  • Produce a cleaner flame
  • Reduce soot
  • Prevent mushrooming
  • Extend the life of your candle
  • Ensure a more even burn

Wax Melts

What are your wax melts made from?

Our wax melts are handcrafted using premium soy wax and the same luxury fragrance oils found in our candles.

Each pack contains 2 large wax melts.

How long do wax melts last?

The longevity of a wax melt depends on the fragrance and burner used, but each melt provides many hours of beautiful fragrance before it needs replacing.

Can I reuse a wax melt?

Yes.

Continue using the same wax melt until the fragrance has faded. Once cooled, simply remove the wax and replace it with a fresh melt.

Candle & Wax Melt Safety

How do I burn my candle safely?

Always:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Burn on a heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep away from draughts and flammable materials.
  • Stop burning when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.

How long should I use a wax melt?

Do not burn wax melts for longer than 4 hours at a time.

Always follow the safety instructions supplied with your wax burner.
